We started in 2021 when Amelia Christie-Miller set out with a simple mission: to make people OBSESSED with beans by giving them THE BEST of beans. Over the past 3 years we have doubled our sales every quarter, gone from supplying our loyal followers through direct orders to over 1000 stores, and are the only brand driving volume growth within the category. As well as certifying as a B CORP and winning The Grocer's Gold's "Start-Up of the Year" award 2023. This hasn’t been achieved through big budgets, but through award-winning, delicious products, innovative marketing and a team FULL OF BEANS and creativity.

<h3>🎯 The Opportunity</h3>

<div>We're looking for a Community and Marketing Executive to sit at the heart of how Bold Bean Co looks after its customers and community. You'll be handling day-to-day customer queries with warmth and speed, keeping our social channels and reviews in good health, working alongside our Brand Lead on exciting marketing activations including merch and sampling opportunities and together with our Partnerships Manager to build relationships with the creators who help spread the word about our beans.</div>

<div>This is a hands-on, varied role for someone who wants to learn fast in a small, entrepreneurial team - one day you might be replying to a customer about a delayed order, the next you're sourcing beanie merch or helping out at an in-store sampling event.</div>

<h3>💡 Key Responsibilities</h3>
<h4>● Customer Service</h4>
<ul>
<li>Ensuring our D2C service is best in class by answering queries using Gorgias related to order issues, most commonly: order delays, missing orders, and skipping, editing, merging or pausing a subscription (a good working knowledge of Skio is advantageous for this).</li>
<li>Responding to and answering questions about our beans, most commonly: organic certification, where our beans come from, health related and recipe questions. (Some level of specific Bold Bean Co product knowledge will be needed, but you'll be trained on this) - for anything more complex, or UX-related, the team would of course be here to support.</li>
<li>Working closely with our quality team to respond to high level quality concerns quickly, confidently, and smoothly by following our compensation protocol.</li>
<li>Keeping track of product suggestions and working closely with the quality team to collate these in a working file to support our growing range of products.</li>
<li>Using Shopify to issue refunds, send gift card compensation, and sort out any customer concerns regarding changes to their account, e.g. home address or email address.</li>
<li>Working closely with the supply team and warehouse to keep an eye on stock levels, ensuring customers are proactively alerted to any changes or issues that may affect their orders.</li>
</ul>
<h4>● Social + Community</h4>
<ul>
<li>Leading and building the Facebook Bean Hub; from managing the Admins by regularly touching base and sending monthly vouchers, keeping an eye on trends, concerns or recipes the community are making, responding to comments and answering customer queries and planning engaging competitions and posting incentives to celebrate the community and keep bean obsession alive.</li>
<li>Running frequent polls and questions to our community across all social channels to align with research projects internally.</li>
<li>Responding to all DMs on our Instagram and TikTok, reporting back any trends, product suggestions or asks for the team as and when.</li>
<li>Owning the Bold Bean Co LinkedIn account from post ideation and copywriting to DM management, engaging with tagged posts and comments, and tracking and reporting on performance stats monthly.</li>
</ul>
<h4>● Creators</h4>
<ul>
<li>Working closely with our Partnerships Manager to liaise with and build relationships with our creator community, keeping up with what is going on in their worlds and feeding back any key updates or moments worth sharing.</li>
<li>Keeping a close eye on the food creator landscape, with a genuine interest in and working knowledge of content creators on Instagram and TikTok specialising in food, lifestyle and health.</li>
<li>A keen eye for international creator growth and sourcing new gifting opportunities as we expand into new markets.</li>
</ul>
<h4>● Marketing Support</h4>
<ul>
<li>Providing general support to the wider marketing team as needed including helping to organise events, supporting the wider comms plan for campaigns and ensuring the community is kept at the heart of our campaigns.</li>
<li>Developing merch ideas and owning the process from brief to delivery - communicating with suppliers, managing timelines and keeping the team on track once a concept is signed off.</li>
<li>Being the voice of the community, feeding customer insights into brand and product decisions.</li>
<li>Running customer surveys (covering NPD, subscription feedback, EPD and existing product feedback) on behalf of the team - from developing the brief and organising the send list through to tracking responses and analysing findings.</li>
<li>Organising regular customer calls for the marketing team (monthly) to keep us connected to our bean champs and be the voice of the consumer in all conversations.</li>
<li>Sample mail sends, in-store sampling, and event support.</li>
<li>Filing all Bold Bean Co PR coverage and creating a monthly report highlighting stand-out features.</li>
